And then act:
God’s method
Of assistance, His voice.
If,
Without checking,
You act,
Your hopes will be dashed
And disappear without a trace,
Like a bomb exploding,
Shattering in pieces,
Flying away.
Your broken body,
Covered in wounds
Will take the lead in begging
Door to door for food.
Though their lips will be silent,
Those around you will know
You had acted without checking,
Made light of God’s Word,
And taking it as a lesson learned,
Indifferently they will pass by you.
